Matthew (Max) Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Science in Teaching from Winona St. University. He previously worked in the family business, Xerox Sales and Marketing. Currently, he works in the business department at Albert Lea High School. Max is the ALHS ATPPS Building Coordinator and Southwest Middle School Athletic Director.

Max was the 2008 Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year. He is a member of the National Scholastic Press Association and the Minnesota Coaches Association.

Max is a proud 1990 graduate of Albert Lea High School. He has worked as a football coach or basketball coach in Albert Lea since 1994, including Assistant Varsity Football Coach and Assistant Girls Basketball Coach.
