First graders took a fieldtrip to our local Mayo Clinic hospital today. They learned about how one gets admitted to the hospital, as well as about the human body. They visited the lab to see what blood looks like under a microscope. They also saw a newborn baby and got to go inside an ambulance to learn about what EMTs do. Everyone had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you to our local hospital for providing this great experience for our first graders!

On Thursday, March 27, the students at Sbley School will be treated to an elegant lunch experience. We will be dining in style with center pieces, hors D'oeuvres and music. We will be using the experience to learn about proper dining etiquette.
We invite students to help us set the tone for this experience by dressing for the event in fancier clothing. It would be a great day for students to channel in their inner Fancy Nancy or Dapper Dans!
